Innovation Quest’s – Summer Incubation Program IQueue Session #3

Working a full time 50+ hour a week job and trying to start a startup at the same time is brutally hard work.. if anyone has seen me in the past couple of weeks you probably noticed I look like death and my eyes have huge big black circles around them.

But like our third guest speaker for IQueue, Innovation Quest’s Summer Incubation Program, said doing a startup is all about trade offs like giving up the work life balance, not hanging out with friends as much, not spending enough time with the family, and at times sacrificing sleep and sanity with an extra couple of hours of work.

And the work becomes downright addictive! Just like Brian Riley, founder of the the Flip Break and one of the IQueue companies, said today if he doesn’t get in in at least a full couples hours of work in a day (even on weekends) he starts to get antsy and has to put that time in. I feel the same exact way and I’m sure all of the other IQueue competitors feel the same way too because we are all driven entrepreneurs trying to change the world!

Here is the video of IQueue third guest speaker talking about what makes an entreprenuer and sharing some of his experiences to the group, enjoy.

P.S – The Audo for the first minute or so of the first video is all screwed up.. not sure why I must have had my finger on the speaker but fast forward a minute or so and the audio is perfectly fine after that
