Quote “I think I am going crazy” by Amy Cagle from SpidrPak

I’ve been working on this my business plan that needs to be done by Thursday for 10 hours straight. I can’t stand the sight of market numbers, statistics, business summaries, customers, and anything to do with business anymore. This is why its so easy to get sucked into your own individual market and individual company, and fail to see the big picture from multiple perspectives.

It’s funny, I used to run the Cal Poly Business Plan Competition, I sat on the judging panels of others schools competitions, and I’ve started a couple companies already but this is the first time I’ve actually ever had to sit down and write a full business plan out myself. It’s interesting to think that my business is literally changing every week and this plan could become completely worthless in about 3 days.. but it really is forcing me to think about my market, our competitors, and the overall strategy of JobShoots.

The fourth session of IQueue, the summer incubator program I started at Cal Poly, was my favorite one yet. We learned all about go to market strategies, milestone planning, business development, and effective presentations from our very own Laura Pickering

I’m going to be extremely busy for the next two weeks because of our upcoming investor presentation so I probably won’t be posting videos anytime soon. But feel free to follow me on twitter http://twitter.com/cmccann7 I usually update a lot quicker on there!
